After making a pencil drawing of my favorite poster I cut one of my first laquer stencils and adhered it with solvents. It came out with a nice wood block effect. It was a lot of fun improvising on his Afro. On later projects I would use enamal spraypaint for areas requiring midtone greys like his hair. The first successful attempt was on my Hindenburg screen.
